The idea of this book seemed like a slam dunk but it ended up just being a dud. There were a lot of issues I had with this book, too many to lay out in a review. The characters were fine, there were too many and it was hard to out myself in any of their shoes. This book wasn't a bad book but I think it was overhyped and eventually let me down because it didn't live up to its Big Little Lies meets Practical Magic at all.
