The Midnight Library by Kazuno Kohara

4.0

Illustrated in a simple color scheme of goldenrod, sapphire, and black to match the simple story of a little librarian who manages a library for forest creatures at night (presumably when all the people patrons are asleep).

I can relate to tortoise-like patrons not wanting to leave when the library is closing despite the late (or very early, in this case) hour.
