“I remember looking for my boy on the news, on the internet - any call for missing persons, a boy in his mid-teens, 5'9", very slim build, black hair, brown eyes.
No one was looking for him.
It's like, if a tree falls in the forest, and there's no one there to hear it, did I even chop it down?
I stuff the pictures in an envelope.”
This is so fucked up lol I don’t even have the correct words to use to explain the extent to which it is. Though I am a slut for the whole “descent into madness” type of shit and that was definitely present in this. So below is a list of things that Irina could probably go to jail for (take it with a grain of salt, I’m not going back for every little thing this is from memory)
- Drug Offenses
- Drug Possession
- Aggravated assault
- Child Pornography
- Domestic Violence
- DUI
- Harassment
- Extortion (probably)
- Indictable sex offences against children
- Second Degree Murder
- Voluntary Manslaughter (I’m probably incorrect with the term)
- Public Intoxication
- Sexual Assault
- Statutory Rape
And from here it does probably go on, but for the time being those are all I can think of. Uh oh and I’ve never said this before about a man but Eddie from Tesco deserves better and hell so does Flo. Feel bad for anyone in this girls life to be honest with you.
However the writing in this book was decent though and I was somewhat entertained by the whole thing.
Graphic: Addiction, Alcoholism, Cursing, Death, Domestic abuse, Drug use, Physical abuse, Sexual assault, Sexual content, Blood, Murder, Gaslighting, Sexual harassment
