whoof. i loved almost all of this book, from the format to the pacing to the writing style, but the open ending just doesn't do sadie's story justice. setting that aside, it was almost a perfect thriller, and i was very glad that despite its subject material, it didn't use graphic descriptions of sexual violence for shock value. (looking at you, karin slaughter.)
