King Lear

King Lear is one of those Shakespeare plays that I always heard such grandiose reviews of, but never truly listened to what was said about it. This play was highly entertaining, insightful into the human condition of the dangers of building up our temporary titles and leaving ourselves far too vulnerable when those titles are taken away. Problems of judgement, trust, and love are heightened to a beautiful story that seems to have a sudden and unexpected end. I would love so very much to see this play on stage.
