4⭐️ I DID IT!! I finally read this book.
This book is wonderfully written. I loved the premise, the fmc has got a freaking mouth and she knows how to use it (not like that lol).
I think my favourite thing about this book was the atmosphere and the spooky vibes. I LOVE a book that’s got spirits, ghosts, and all kinds of creepy stuff. Add in a murder mystery and I’m sold. My mind was working a million miles a minute trying to solve this mystery, and shocker, I still got it wrong.
I was close tho! (Sort of) and I think the plot twists were really great overall. As far as pacing, it took me a little while to get into it; maybe 100 or so pages. I was still enjoying it but not nearly as invested as I became. The rest of the story played out so seamlessly.
The touch of romance was nice but the love triangle PISSED ME OFF, and if you’ve read till the end you might be able to assume why. As an avid love triangle hater I could not handle the way that it was dealt with it genuinely made me so angry
