Well this is a fascinating book and it covers so many things. I am 99% sure that the book is written in such a way, that the reader is able to understand from a couple of first pages that the book is going to end in dramatic way.
But before the end the reader goes through a roller coaster ride with emotions with Charlie(the main character of the book, one of the main characters). And what a ride it is, full events psychology, child development, coping with emotions and life.
After the ride is over the reader then encounters the inevitable sour-sad ending.
This book most definitely deserves all the Awards it has received, I will be so bold to say this is a must read for everyone.
