Illuminations by T. Kingfisher

4.0

I have really enjoyed all T. Kingfisher's middle grade books ([b:A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking|54369251|A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking|T. This book is creative and cute, with themes of found family and friendship, but at the same time doesn't shy away from monsters and real danger. I go back and forth with cosy fantasy, but this hits the spot.
