I pushed myself all the way to the halfway point. I really tried. I feel bad DNFing an ARC, but this was a lot of words for nothing.
Yeah some people died in this thriller and there’s a mystery in there somewhere. But it didn’t flow well and was not intriguing. The writing was too choppy, not in the sense that the chapters were short, I don’t mind short chapters, just the sentence structures and phrasing.
