The Fires of Heaven by Robert Jordan

Did not finish book. Stopped at 19%.

I started off absolutely loving wheel of time, but at this point everything I'm enjoying about the series is being outweighed by Jordens writing style. Everything is so long winded, we're still being reminded of things that we've know from the prologue of book 1 and the characters I actually like aren't even in this book. Pacing is awful, and at this point I don't think even Jorden knew what the plot was. 
I'm sad I'm DNF'ing, but for the sake of my sanity and enjoyment of reading, it has to be done.
