Twisted Love – Ana Huang ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book pulled me into a whirlwind of angst, passion, and tension that I couldn’t escape! From the moment I met Alex Volkov, the brooding, morally gray billionaire with a tragic past, and Ava Chen, the sweet yet quietly strong woman determined to live life on her own terms, I knew I was in for a ride.
The grumpy-sunshine dynamic? Absolutely on point. The slow-burn romance between them had me screaming at my Kindle, begging them to just give in already! And when they did? The chemistry was explosive. 🔥
What I Loved:
💙 Alex’s protective (borderline obsessive) nature—there’s just something about a man willing to burn the world down for the woman he loves.
💙 Ava’s backstory—she’s not just an innocent girl; she has real depth and struggles, which made me root for her even more.
💙 The pacing—secrets, betrayals, and intense emotions unravel at just the right moments to keep you hooked.
What Could’ve Been Better:
⚡️ Some of Alex’s actions toe the line between possessive and questionable. His need for control is intense, and while it fits his character, there were moments that felt a bit too much.
⚡️ Certain emotional moments could have been explored more deeply—I wanted just a little more rawness, a little more time to sit in the emotions.
Final Thoughts:
If you love obsessive, protective heroes, sizzling chemistry, and dark, angsty romance, Twisted Love is absolutely worth the read. It has its over-the-top moments, but that’s part of what makes it so addictive! I’ll definitely be continuing the series. 💙🔥
