This has to be my favourite of all the books I’ve read over the last few years! I was enthralled from the first chapter. I really enjoyed the plot and story-telling style. The character development was excellent, I enjoyed that they all had depth and flaws. I am a sucker for books that flick between the past and present, so this appealed to me too. This book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, tugging at the heartstrings while simultaneously inspiring you to grab opportunities in your own life with both hands. I highly recommend this book.
Moderate: Domestic abuse and Grief
Minor: Suicidal thoughts, Death of parent, Alcoholism, Addiction, Terminal illness, and Cancer
