This was an extremely fun casual listen.

I read this as an audiobook and I want to start with the fact that I really loved the narration. It had a lot of emotion and the characters had a lot of personality. The jokes and funny bits were delivered really well too and I had a lot of laughs when an astonished reaction of a character was done well.

Talking about jokes as well there were so many funny parts in this book that made me laugh, it was absolutely a joy to listen to. The main characters  had great chemistry together and I loved every bit they interacted. They were opposites in some aspects that gave great clashing moments, and other times they were oh so similar without them realizing it was fun to witness.

I also want to say I really loved the friendgroups they both had too. It gave for a lot casual hangouts that I really enjoyed. Especially Luc's friends gave a lot of found family vibes and I really do love that trope in a book, even more if it's done well like this book had.

I also enjoyed the fact that Luc's dad didn't make up in the end and they broke apart with him being a dick. The whole plotline around him gave the book some reality and didn't sugarcoat it in a story where everyone is nice and kind.

Altogether I really enjoyed the book and hope to be able to listen to the second book this month.
