I really enjoy Peter Cline’s storytelling. This is an interesting twist on what he’s written before. It starts out as one kind of book (a spy/adventure) and about halfway through adds in his brand of horror. It was a little disjointed for my liking. And Natalie’s story is just dropped into the middle of the spy narrative. It’s fairly clunky if I’m honest.
This breaks in style aside, this is a good story that I couldn’t put down.
