The Kill List
by Nadine Matheson
A digital copy of this book was provided to me by NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing. The opinions are my own and freely given.
A man is convicted of murdered, but he has always maintained his innocence. Then he is freed by the court and his conviction is overturned. Now victims are being found in same manner in which the original victims died all those years ago. This "reopens" the original investigation, and the department looks into the officers that put the suspect away. Corrupt policing, and questions abound.
Inspector Angelica Henley's best friend was one of the first victims and she discovered the body. So, she faces a lot of turmoil dredging that day back, and looking into the police at that time who she thought could do nothing wrong.
This is #3 in Inspector Angelica Henly series. I sadly admit that I have not read the first 2 YET, but I wasn't lost reading this one at all.
