Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler
5.0

I cannot believe I've waited this long to read Twenty Boy Summer.

I love the melancholy feel and vibe and writing of this book. And how Sarah Ockler went back in the past while being in the future without it all being so confusing.

The friendship between Anna and Frankie was quite relatable to me. They were both going through a grieving phase and both of them didn't know what to do and how to deal. And being a teenager, it feels like you know everything already and it seems like you can fix things and things will stay in control.

I cringed a bit (A LOT) when Anna agreed to the Twenty Boy Summer because I couldn't get over Matt yet. BUT DANG HER SUMMER FLING STOLE MY HEART LEMME HAVE HIM PLEASE. It was full of emotion and quite the realistic fiction but it will definitely no leave you unsatisfied.
