theliteraryapothecary 's review for:
Notebooks for Crime and Punishment
by Fyodor Dostoevsky
While there were parts of the novel that lost my interest completely and I only read them to get to later parts of the book, the last 100 pages I was hooked. I wanted to keep reading as much as I could. It wasn't a "the world outside disappeared" hooked, but I just felt the need to finish the book and find out how it ended -- which, for me, is a sign of a really good books.
