I Who Have Never Known Men

Excellent! Unsettling and makes you think about time and womanhood and what it means to be one if there are no men around. Our protagonist is strong and the world an absolute mystery. Although written in French, the gorgeous prose is shown in the translation and you’d never be able to notice that this was written 30 years ago, it’s haunting atmosphere is timeless.
