So, I didn’t super love the twist because it really felt very manipulative to me, in a very bad way. I get that Beck loved Margo and he knew they’d end up together someday but something just irked me—like, did he think that ten years down the line he could be like, “Hey, babe…Funny story…” because I feel like that would have gone far worse than her finding out before their wagons were even hitched. It was a bummer because otherwise, I mostly enjoyed it!

Except: My man, you are bold for talking to your brother’s ex-girlfriend like that after not seeing her for years bc I’d be running in the opposite direction if my ex’s brother said anything remotely similar to that, to me! I don’t care how hot or rich he is. 💀

And I feel like “Mastermind” is the correct Taylor Swift song to assign to this book, lmao.
