While every book from Freida becomes predictable the more you read them, this one had the added benefit of still being interesting and refreshing in comparison in other ways. This is the first book I read by Freida with a male dominant POV and it was done well. My one qualm was the very last chapter- written as a last "gotcha" as Freida often does, it instead was completely unnecessary and added nothing to the plot or feel of the book.
Graphic: Gore
Minor: Animal death
