Did not finish book. Stopped at 87%.

DNF at 490 

soooo sad to DNF this as I absolutely adored the first book in the series, but man this one just did not hit the same. I think there was just too many moving parts to this one, with the humans and the spiders AND the octopuses

AND the alien virus????

It was a lot for my mind and unfortunately I was reading it across many smaller sittings so I found myself getting lost frequently. Maybe I’ll come back to it later :)
