Emily asking Axel to take her to the river got to be irritating. The book wasn't even about them.
The book was ok. I listened to the audio book. Jenna's issue with her parents seemed a bit ridiculous to me. I didn't understand why , if she had a whole career, she let her parents manipulate her.
I understood Phoenix more because he didn't interact with people much. The book was a bit boring. It started out better and then fell off.
I would give it 2.5 stars.
