Christmas Crumble by M.C. Beaton

4.0

It's Christmas in Carsley and Agatha wants to get into the christmas spirit. She decides to hold a dinner part for a few local elderly citizens. Agatha believes she's doing something good and despite her friend Roy Silver's advice to the contrary tries to make a pudding for the evening!! However when one of her guests drops dead, it might be more than just her cooking that comes into question.

I love Agatha Raisin. She has spirit and she is always great for many laughs. I loved this little holiday mystery as she tries to stay out of jail, and figure out the mystery surrounding her elderly guests.

While short, this mystery was fun. It doesn't go into too much detail about the back story of Agatha Raisin, and I would still recommend new readers start from the first book, The Quiche of Death. However, if you wanting a quick afternoon of reading, then pick this one. A fun mystery that will get you into the holiday spirit, even if it is May!!
