This is a very quick murder mystery that is excellent at representing the tough hard boiled Cash with her rough past and good heart, and the open and empty farmlands that dominate the ND/MN border. I felt immersed in the setting and in the mind and experience of Cash. I highly recommend picking this one up if you’re into mystery/thrillers.
