This was totally messed up at times and I loved it. How Navessa Allen was able to write a guy, who should be a complete creep with the things he does, so completely lovable is beyond me. Josh had my heart from the first chapter in his POV and his backstory broke my heart. I liked Aly, she had the perfect level of feistiness and vulnerability. Together they made such a great pair as they did totally trust each other and they had such great communication. I will say the second half did feel like it was slowly dragging a little for me with the twist in the story. It did bring in the character for the next book really well and we are getting a look into where this series can go. Overall an amazing read with great spice and slightly messed up and twisted moments.
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Death, Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Violence, Stalking, Murder
Minor: Rape, Grief, Car accident, Death of parent
This does start off with a nod to stalker romance and one of the main characters parents is a serial killer and they are concerned abut them also being one. A lot of the sex has a dangerous undertone.
