Power Plays & Straight A's
by Saxon James, Eden Finley
So I read the series after this that is about NHL professional players so I had already met Zach and Foster in that series and I was so excited to read their story!
And this did not disappoint!
It was so very cute how inexperienced Zach was but how much he desperately wanted Foster. Zach pining was *chefs kiss*. Zach’s character was great from the beginning. I liked that he already started to grow as a person before starting to date Foster and that his character growth was something that was separate from their relationship.
I already knew I loved Foster from the other series I read and this just cemented it for me. How sweet and kind he is just kept surprising me. I loved how he protected Zach but also never became the egotistical asshole (at least most of the time). He encouraged Zach to try new things to help him with his own journey.
Their relationship was so charming and sweet! And again no third act break up which was so refreshing to read!
