Superior: The Return of Race Science by Angela Saini

2.0

There are som interesting parts in here but it’s sandwiched between a lot of waffle and some very shallow readings in places. A lot of the examples are exactly where you expect race science to be - economics and conservative think tanks.
The shadow organisation funding race science is kinda fascinating but that’s not the topic of the book.
Mostly I cannot stand Saini’s writing style and the personal narrative and sloughed through it because of interest in the topic. Unfortunately didn’t really learn anything I didn’t know (shadow organisation excluded) and found it repetitive at times.
