The Last Bookshop in London by Madeline Martin

5.0

I'd gotten stuck in a rut with reading, couldn't find anything new (to me) to read. Requested this from the library after learning about it in their new release collection and flew through it in less than a day. Well written, engaging, historical about a less-considered aspect of WWII historical fiction. Reality on the ground of London during the Blitz and the empowering/soothing/entertaining power of books to help get through. Some lovely relationships built. A tear-jerker at several times, but so worth the time.
