This book follows Amir and Hassan as they each navigate their lives prior to and during the war in Afghanistan.
Before the war Amir fails to project Hassan from a life altering event and in his later life we see Hassan seek redemption for this through risking his own safety in returning to war torn Afghanistan.
This book is a story about family, love, friendship and morality. It makes you question how far people will go to do the right thing.
The mirroring of Amir and Hassans childhood in the latter part of the story is beautiful and well thought out. This book can be enjoyed by everyone.
