The Princess Game: Glitter and Gold by Lyra Vincent

4.0

Contains some spice.

Now this was definitely interesting. A mix of the Selection meets The Cruel Prince with a hint of ACOTAR.

The book in itself was a fun read and definitely keeps you hooked along the way. In a way it is very clear that this was a debut novel, but one hell of a good one but on the other hand I really need answers and might be a tad pissed that it ended on a cliffhanger.

I will not be giving any content spoilers on this, apart from, please consider the trigger warnings. The sexual assault and resulting PTSD was so well written, I felt like Lyra Vincent really knew what she was talking about. At the same time I feel horrible that you had to go through an experience like this, but you tackled it in such an amazing way that I feel like you represented the experience in a very understandable way to readers.

Literally, just please read this book, it’s amazing!
