Not the Marrying Kind by Kathryn Nolan

3.0

Haven't read Nolan in awhile and I enjoyed this HEA for Fiona, Roxy from Strictly Professional's younger sister and the odd one out in her punk rock family. With her lists and plans and love for spreadsheets, I thought for sure she had to be a Virgo but her birthday is apparently in November so she's either a Scorpio or a Sagittarius which just doesn't compute. But back to her lists - she's had a list she's been crossing off since high school and the last item is to get married before 30 but she's dated 5 guys in the last year - and she's got a spreadsheet to keep track - none of them for long enough to develop something meaningful, so she decides the thing she needs to kick things up a notch is to write a contract and re-commit herself to her search - and we all know how that works out.
Her perfect guy turns out to be Max, who she's known since she was a kid and he's everything she thinks she doesn't want, but of course, she's wrong. Max has baggage growing up as a child of divorce with a mother who's a rolling stone and he thinks he's just like her, but he's more like his grumpy father than he realizes...and how his father loves him is the sweetest.
