MMC knocks is gruff and works hard early on to keep FMC Naomi out of his life. Naomi has a connect to an FMC who’s created havoc in town. Naomi ran from something back home when FMC Tina act normal and asked for help. The mystery of Tina and who Naomi left before coming to Knockemout is heavily intertwined as part of the plot. Lucy Scores writes a brilliant character driven narrative of starting over in a new place. I highly recommend picking up Things we never got over which was a five star read for me. The slow paced of events and unrolls the plot
of this character driven narrative is excellent.
