 3.5/5 stars! this is a trilogy with some surprising twists and turns, well-plotted action, and a truly stellar protagonist. there were definitely some twists towards the end that left me scratching my head, and the last 25% of the book rushes through the conclusion. still, the audiobook narrator gives one of my favorite performances!
