The Night Olivia Fell by Christina McDonald

4.0

I received an advanced reader copy of The Night Olivia Fell from Gallery, Threshold, Pocket Books via NetGalley, in return for my honest opinion.

The Night Olivia Fell by Christina McDonald is a story about love, loss, and a mother's search for answers. Abi became a mother at a young age. Since Olivia's father has never been a part of her life, Abi and Olivia are very close. However being a teenager, Olivia's starting to questions Abi's rules.
Very early one morning, Abi gets the news that Olivia has been severely injured in a fall from a bridge, is on life support, and is pregnant. It is against Washington state laws to remove a pregnant woman from life support. While Abi is grappling with her grief, she's also trying to piece together Olivia's last night.

Why have the police deemed Olivia's fall an accident if she had bruises around her wrists? Who would want to hurt Olivia? Why was Olivia on that bridge?

This was a really great read filled with twists that have you questioning all the characters. Even though the ending was bittersweet, the epilogue was my favorite part- all the loose ends were tied up nicely. The Night Olivia Fell will be available Tuesday, February 5, 2019.
