I absolutely loved Marissa Meyer’s other series, The Lunar Chronicles, so I gave the first of this series a try and I am afraid I was disappointed. The story read much younger to me than the Lunar Chronicles and I found a number of the teen characters to be moody and obnoxious. Also, there are SO many characters who all have real names and superhero/villain names so keeping track of all the characters and their abilities was quite the task. While the book left off with a big cliffhanger, I don’t think I’ll continue with the series.
