What an awesome surprise this was. I don't usually do as much urban fantasy but this had enough other elements mixed in that I was hooked right away. Great writing - I was especially pleased by the deft way information about the world was worked into the story instead of the usual infodumps you find in this genre. The cover is horrible and honestly the title isn't all that meaningful either but what's inside really makes up for it. Can't wait for the sequels.
