i loved charlie’s personality!!! he was so charming and fun to read. the chemistry between him and alice was amazing, and the tension between them had me hooked the whole time. it was hard for me to put the book down. i also really loved the relationships between the family members, they felt warm, real, and added so much to the story (especially nan!!!). i read every summer after but couldn’t really remember it, and i didn’t have time to reread, but it didn’t matter because even if i don’t remember it i just know this one was WAY better. such a perfect summer vibe romance read. i always love a carley fortune book, and this one might be my favorite!! i would’ve given this book 6 stars if i could’ve
