Better than expected. I had hear a lot of people not liking the main character and finding the book to be too info dumpy. Maybe it was the audiobook or YA nostalgia but I ended up enjoying it way more than expected. I did find some of El's choices odd at first, but I enjoyed the humor and the world a lot.
