Is this book hilarious as touted? No. But it is a decent enough light-hearted romantic trope read, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, misunderstandings, you name it.
Olive's identical twin sister Ami is getting married and Olive and the groom's older brother Ethan really do NOT get on. When the whole wedding party are taken violently ill, Ami tells Olive that her and Ethan must take advantage of the all inclusive trip to Hawaii that she had won.
Plenty of stereotypical situations arise - the one bed, the massage booking, the literal falling into each others arms - but for all that there is some maturity about the characters and how they grow and learn more about themselves and in turn what they are looking for in a partner.
Of course, as these things do it all happens very quickly in the end, but it's an enjoyable enough read by this writing duo, perfect for a beach or a wet Sunday afternoon
