I am so in love with Sibby I cant even explain it. She is NUTS. I'm going off the assumption you've read or are going to read the cat and mouse duet as Sibby is part of that world. We see her in Haunting and Hunting Adeline and she just gets funnier by the day.
Her lack of understanding for the real world is genuinely the funniest thing to date. The delulu is REAL. From reading Haunting Adeline I literally fell in love with her and read Satans Affair immediately after.
H.D. Carlton is one of those authors whose books I'll buy without knowing the title, blurb, cover; she just never disappoints.
She is currently writing Sibbys duet and I am ITCHING to read it. IT'S A NEED NOT A WANT.
However her little novella is so so sad. The trauma this little girl had from such young age is heartbreaking. But I'm so proud of her for finding her ground and being the bad a$$ b!tch that she is. I'd like to be her friend. Love this girl with my whole heart.
The reading order is meant to be:
Satans Affair
Haunting Adeline
Hunting Adeline
Where's Molly
, however personally I'd recommend reading Haunting Adeline first and then Satans Affair - purely because from scrolling other reviews people have struggled to enjoy this book because they don't understand the connection to the Cat and Mouse duet. Sibby is such an important character in HUA, I also liked the mystery of not knowing her past while reading HUA - it made her so much more intriguing.
