Very Nice.
Okay first I have to say I finally know the color of Lily's hair!!! I appreciated Sir Kipling's descriptions of the physical things around him to no end. That said the amount of unnecessary, to series readers, back story slowed the pacing of this down considerably so it could have used a little less of that. I'm fairly sure I can guess who the new wizard on the scene is but I'm hoping later titles let us know about the contents of the mysterious letter and who the new witches might be. Overall a nice story that I enjoyed reading.
