As someone on the asexual spectrum (demisexual bi-romantic) this book made me cry multiple times as I didn’t know that other people felt the same way I did about sex. You SHOULD want it, right? Everyone else does, so why not me?! I wish I had this book when I was younger— not knowing what was “wrong” with me because I did not have a significant other or any desire to be in a sexual relationship with another person.
While it can be cheesy and reads like a fanfic at times, the message still hits home and I really appreciate the representation. If you or someone you love is on the asexual spectrum, I would highly recommend reading this book.
