When All the World Sleeps by Lisa Henry, J.A. Rock

3.0

I couldn’t put the book down; however, I remember liking this a lot more on my first read. I'm not a BSM fan, maybe a light touch of bondage and some spanking but that's about it. however, there was more complex meaning behind sub and dom in their relationship that I enjoyed. I didn’t think the lengths Daneil was going to stay awake were necessary.

I love the relationship that Bel and Daneil created. Daneil is adorable in a weird way I see why Bel is attracted to him. I would have liked for them to have more interactions with everyone in general this including each other but especially their family.
I also would have liked for them to talk about Daniels psychological struggles more with each other considering that’s what this whole book is about. The fight with the protagonist were out of character for Daneil especially considering how smart Daneil is and how unsure he was originally of showing his face in town let alone standing up to the one person who intimidates him more than anything. Recommended to anyone who like Angsty romance, with a touch of BSM.
