I knew this book was going to be good but I had no idea it was going to be THIS good! Absolutely unputdownable. I loved how it addresses so much, discrimination, trauma, microaggressions, systemic racism, and social eugenics throughout the story. Each character was complex which made them feel real. Devon and Chiamaka’s journeys are both bittersweet in such different ways but I absolutely loved the epilogue! The book was divided into 3 parts but it flowed so well. The twists and turns of the plot easily kept me engaged and had me jumping from one potential suspect to another.
