I enjoyed this. The characters were well-written and the story was realistic in the sense that I felt immersed in the city comedy scene. The book was really good in the sense that it was all meat, no filler. Every character was practical and made realistic judgments and actions even when it was bad. 

Some thoughts I had when reading:

Why are you such a people pleaser girl

Why are you trying to parent/train your bf

I'm with her friend, at some point, you can't be friends with someone who's being abused, it draining and dangerous.

That prep joke was funny.
