lapetitepaola 's review for:
A Court of Thorns and Roses
by Sarah J. Maas
Not a review just me keeping track
I have... thoughts.
I understand why some people hate this book and KINDA understand why some people love it.
To me the book was too bad or too great it was just okay. It's true, however, that it was slow. Very slow.
Now, the book centers a lot on the relationship of Tamlin and Feyre and while I dont like that unfortunately it is important to the plot.
Sin embargo, regardless of that there is not much of a relationshit to die over. There is no real chemistry shown between them besides when it's some sexual tension. So this whoke time that she was saying "my high lord" and risking her life for him I was just rolling my eyes. But here's the thing. If she didnt go risk her life for him EVERYONE ELSE would also suffer.
Anyways, there were things in that book that could have the potential to be a better boom but... didnt.
Also, everyone (specially Feyre) felt so flat on this book. I didnt get ro connect with any character. And i dont understand why Rhysand when to vent to Feyre as if they had a kind of connection where he would feel comfortable doing so because AGAIN there was no connection.
So, I think that things feeling flat aside this book is okay-ish. It is VERY easy to read and to understand.
