Let me start by saying I loved “28 Summers” so when I saw there was a sequel coming, I was thrilled.
“The Sixth Wedding” centers around the whole gang minus Mallory as she has since passed away. We get to see them all come together on Nantucket to recreate Cooper’s first bachelor weekend that he ditched due to his first (insecure) fiancé.
Leland and Fray are back at it again, Cooper is bouncing back from Stacey turning him down, Jake is enjoying his new status, and Bess and Link are smitten.
Overall it was a good book. It was good to be able to catch up with the characters from such a good book. The downside is it felt like it should have been just a little longer because it ended up feeling rushed toward the end. Also, the ending…. After everything for it to end like THAT?! No bueno…..
