Mrs. Nash's Ashes
by Sarah Adler
This book so was entertaining while also effectively portraying the true weight of grief. Millie was the sweetest, goofiest character that you just wanted to hug. Hollis was, as perfectly described by Millie, a cinnamon roll with a slightly burnt outside. They were great together and the drama of their road trip was hysterical. An olive oil spill! A deranged kamikaze deer! A broccoli festival! Such outrageously fun events all on the way to a powerfully emotional end to lay Mrs Nash (or at least 3 tablespoons’ worth of her) to rest with her lost love.
Definitely reading more from Sarah Adler.
