A Brush with Burns by Robert Burns, Ian Campbell

3.0

It's spectacular that poems from the 1700s still exist, especially poems written for the common people. I do think I missed something in the reading experience and need to find a Scottish friend to read them aloud before a fire on a cold night. I enjoyed the illustrations paired with these poems. I also liked how many fragments of poems are in here. It was a great collection for someone new to Burns.
