I honestly thought this book was never going to end. The first 100 or so pages were so unnecessarily wordy that I found myself reading words but comprehending nothing. The middle 100 or so pages, told by the boy, made the book easier to follow along with. But the end was so uninterestingly pointless, I'm just glad it's over. Maybe I'm missing significant symbolism or I'm ignorant & naive to everything this book was trying to teacher but I just wasn't a fan. I'm glad this was just a LFL find & not something I purchased - sorry!
